Paste a tracklist — a set from 1001Tracklists, a YouTube description, a message from a friend — and check it against your own rekordbox collection. You get back what you already own, a rekordbox playlist of exactly those records, and a shopping list of what is missing. Nothing is uploaded; it all runs in your own browser.
Step 1
In rekordbox: File → Export collection in xml format. It has to be that XML, not a playlist .txt — only the XML carries the file paths, and without those there is nothing to build a rekordbox playlist from.
Step 2
One track per line, any format. Numbering, timestamps and [labels] are stripped, and ID lines are skipped. Got a Spotify playlist? Export it to text with Chosic first, then paste that here.
Every track you do not own gets looked up in a streaming catalogue. You find out what exists digitally, what needs a second look, and which records live only on vinyl or Bandcamp.
Want these as a TIDAL playlist? That part does need your own TIDAL account — only for writing, never for the check above. Nothing is written until you press create.
Matching a pasted tracklist against a real collection is guesswork with rules on top. If a record you own came back as missing, or two different records were treated as the same one, that is the most useful thing you can send me.
